Make your Property Photo-Ready

Make your Property Photo-Ready

Bryony Walters - Lettings Manager

You've instructed an agent and they're arranging a photographer. What do you do to get the place ready?

Firstly, de-clutter. You want the property to look homely but not overly 'lived-in'. People are put off by mess.

Straighten bedspreads, rugs and pictures, put the loo seat down and put some plants in a vase.

Put away family photographs that you don't want broadcast over the internet and hide your valuables; you don't want any dodgy characters eyeing up your family jewels online.

If possible, pick a day when the weather's decent. Any outside space you have will look so much more appealing in the sunshine.

Replace light bulbs and open blinds (unless you live opposite some sewage works, in which case, close them!!). Let there be light!
